Holy hell I just threw this on because I was looking for AOTY contenders and heard it was good, and had no idea what to expect and it blew me away. It's very hard to believe that this was recorded live because it sounds spectacular. The fact that I'm pouring time into a variety of releases to make an AOTY list kills me because I just want to listen to this nonstop. Strong case for #1.

I need to listen to this again. It's been awhile, but almost everything on it left a really good impression.

Album is enjoyable but a little too longwinded for me. Shadows is one of my favorite albums of all time, and I really enjoyed Messe, but it's harder for me to focus on this one. Maybe it just takes more time to digest than the others.
