If 2015/16 is anything to go by he'll release 4 different projects at once again. In less than a year between mid-2015 and mid-2016 he released a solo album, a OUADM album, a Fightstar album and a Busted album.

So yeah, still no Fightstar...

I think I know how all the Busted fans felt in the years Charlie was doing Fightstar instead of Busted...

Same here, or at least something soon. Considering Busted's currently doing their arena tour and everything, I think Charlie's going to be busy with that for a while :'(.

They openly stated that Busted or Gunship won't affect Fightstar releasing new music

I know, but it's been about three/four years and we've had zilch from Fightstar.

However, on the bright side, Charlie has confirmed that he's been writing some songs for Fightstar:

Charlie is only doing Busted stadium tours to earn some money. He has 2 kids to feed!

I suspect he will do another album with his brothers, maybe another solo album then Fightstar.

Ps. Apparently their drummer Omar is going to be in the new Disney Aladdin movie

Yeah I'd heard Abidi was doing some acting work now. Maybe he'll even contribute to the soundtrack? Wishful thinking.

Of course, I understand why he's doing Busted; Fightstar isn't going to provide him with the funds to provide for two kids (unfortunately, but that's the way the industry works now), but Fightstar posted on their page the day after the announcement that Charlie was rejoining Busted that it would not have any impact on Fightstar. It's been just over three years, and we've had two Busted albums and nothing from Fightstar. I'm not an entitled fanboy or anything, but I've been waiting to see them live for about 9 years but haven't had the opportunity to since they've been inactive for most of those years, and when they were playing shows a couple of years back I wasn't able to make it to any of the shows they played (one due to my university schedule, one due to seeing Enter Shikari on the same day, and one I was very nearly going to go to but had to sell my ticket less than a week beforehand due to starting a new job and finding out less than a week beforehand that I had out of hours training until 8 that evening despite saying at my interview I could only do a morning shift on that day).

I got into them around the time the Be Human deluxe edition was released, and I was about 16 at the time. I’m not sure if they played any gigs around then, but I didn’t have any friends who were into them at the time. Even then, I only started going to gigs regularly (asides from local shows, most of which my old band was playing anyway) during my last year of uni (2015). The bands I’ve seen most so far are Touche Amore and Svalbard who I’ve seen four times each.

This is fantastic. Very fun and filled with energy, and I love the synth parts it makes this record sound massive. Dive is gorgeous!

I was a fan from the very start (The Suffolk Explosion). I still remember going into Woolworths (damn I’m old!) and picking up their debut EP. That was nearly 15 years ago now

Lol! How you gonna start a sentence saying you're not an entitled fanboy and then complain about the band's members doing other more lucrative things with their lives when you yourself turned down the opportunity to see them thrice in order to do other things?
