Transgression's horrible production, vocals, and lack of good hooks is was makes it suck so much.

It's by far their cryngiest album with those spoken word sections that are just horrible. The production is not great either. And the songwriting is abysmal on soul. Thats how I feel man

Transgression is definitely their worst. I only remember 540,000 Fahrenheit and moment of impact being good.

^^^540k is incredible, probably their best song ever.
And then the rest of the album happens :/
This on the other hand...
I never would have thought after Transgarbage that these guys could put out an album this good. Or as good as Mechanize for that matter. Got scared with Industrialist, but this might be my all time favorite FF.

soul of a new machine is better than their 2000s stuff tbh

Demanufacture is visceral as fuck but it's too samey, tracks blur together. I like the variances they introduced to their style as their career went on. Most people dislike the hell out of Digimortal but it's actually my second fave from FF.
I get the feels from 540K, moreso than any other song from them (though Byte Block is close). And that's a bigger determining factor for my personal favorites than anything else.

If any of you ever wondered what Fear Factory would sound like with a female vocalist, check out a band called CONFLICT. They aren't listed in this site's database and I can only find them on bandcamp and Youtube. The production on their album "Transform into a Human" is superb as well for not being on a major label.
Here is the link for the full album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqFRwCBB0Tc
If I had to recommend two tracks to check out first, I would say listen to "Circular Transition" and "The Elements of a New Era." Seriously, check these guys out!
It would be cool if somebody posted a review on here!
