I can blatantly see the ripoff of Tom Petty, but the chords in Dani are nothing alike to Nirvana.

I've listened to the tracks, and I honestly can't see this as a 4 or 5 like some people are hailing it to be. It's a good album, much in the same way as the White Album was to the Beatles: It's a large representation of the styles of the band.



Maybe it's because I like the mellow, melodic RHCP (By The Way, Californiacation) over the funk, but I think it's good for what it is. In my opinion, some of the song lengths could've been cut down and only a few tracks cut.

not bad

this albums lacks the edge that they used to have. Flea will always be funky and John is great but too many songs with slow boring drums and clean guitar. People want funk rock . we want soemthing that this band can only give and I dont beleive they did. I can play every bass riff on the album. ohh well hard to concentrate and torture me are great

a flawed album, little or no imagination. john is carrying the aging rockers
