When I first heard 'Let it Happen' I imagined this would be a Top 10 of the year contender but that song wrote a cheque the album couldn't cash, will be lucky to scrape my top 30

Lame Gimpala or is that too far

Sometimes I hate listening to a key song from an album in advance, esp if its the opening track, you picture what the rest will sound like and where you want the album to go...the rest of the album doesn't follow 'Let it Happen' in all that satisfying a way compared to what I had imagined, I'd describe the reality as 'fluffier' than I expected lol, all in all a bit lightweight

I guess I was expecting this generation's mainstream 'total narcotic headtrip/it's a legal high' album but instead it's more 'big n' bland' slightly psychedelic electro pop that's just quite good with a few storming moments

Fair enough, I don't think I heard any of this before release except maybe Eventually so I was a lot more positive (my rating is way too high though)

Yes I'm Changing is still one of my soty

It's not a bad album at all, I just felt a little cheated by it is all. Eventually is a tight pop song and the last tune is a banger too, but I just find listening to the whole album from start to finish is a bit of a chore

It would definitely be much improved by cutting the interludes and Past Life (which is basically just an extended interlude).

"The Moment" is fire. Really I can't find a single song I don't like. I jam all the time.

Let It Happen, Yes I'm Changing, Eventually, The Less I Know the Better, Disciples, New Person Same Old Mistakes are all 4.5s or 5s

The Moment, Cause I'm a Man, Reality in Motion, Love/Paranoia are 4s or 3.5s

Past Life is like 3ish

That's how I view this album. Track wise.

"The Moment" should be in the 4.5s or 5s list and then I'd agree with you. I think "The Moment" is probably the best song on here.

Disciples is boring, Cause I'm a Man is one of the best along with Let It Happen, The Moment, and Eventually

the hook in reality in motion is almost the same as the melody in say my name by destiny's child and i can't hear anything else when I listen to it
