I love how you talked about your hometown. I feel like all the cities I've lived in would have a huge influence on my music (if I ever make any, haha).
I have barely played any video games at all, but one OST that has really impacted me is the Pokémon Diamond & Pearl OST. I'm listening to it, and everytime I do, it hits me and I get all emotional lol. I don't know if it's just me but I feel there's something really special about it.
Sorry if I derailed the thread, and I know you don't like having your music pinned down as just video game OST nostalgia, I'm not trying to imply that in any way, I just got emotional haha.
