This album is fkn mesmerizing but it lacks the punch of the previous two and the song structures feel much more aleatory, whereas on Oceanic/Panopticon the songs all seemed meticulously planned out. It's hardly a criticism though. Dulcinea and Garden of Light are two of their greatest songs. And two of the greatest songs in general for that matter.

Drumming is on par with Lateralus' magic easily. BallsDeep is right about previous albums feeling more focused structurally but i still put this on equal with Wavering Radiant for best ISIS, imo.
