Well in the past they've all written them. But it's funny, the guitarist actually expressed how much he sucks at singing in a long interview haha

it's a completely different song, lol.

This made me even more appreciate the crescendo on the Rishloo version, sooooooooo good.

I remember hearing the demos and they sounded really cool and I was looking forward to it nonetheless. And then I heard they got Drew back and holy shit that brightened up my day xD

I was wondering why Drew used so much of his lower register on this album when he was belting E5's or whatever on Weevil Bride. I guess this explains it

Yea they sounded really promising, but I'm still so happy with how this turned out. It honestly exceeded my expectations.

Listened again today. This still fucking rules. It feels like to me that this came out ages ago, but it's only been out like four months it's weird.

that line in salutations something like "It's hard to reach across/The unbelievable distance/Between what we really are, and who we claim to be" is a killer

I hear a passion and work ethic listening to this record that I don't get from other albums. These guys just ooze talent.

Gave this another go. I really liked it to begin with, but definitely liked it more this time. The ending of "Dead Rope Machine" is downright angelic.

this disc is the 2014-15 definition of grower. There's too much stuff going on and too many changes of pace to be able to grasp it in a few listens
