its a v strong track. my uncle actually worked for Sony when this album was being made and helped release this album. he told me they took off New York City Cops because of 9/11 but you guys prob already knew that. I think it's a jam

This has always been an album to perplex me. It is everything I love: noisy garage material, Interpol-Esque instrumentals, fuzzy, in-the-background vocals, but for some reason I can't jump on the hype train. It's a great album for sure, but it just doesn't really hit the spot I want it to. Songs like Hard to Explain are complete 5/5's but it's just weighed down with too much fuzz and blur, which I'd ordinarily consider a compliment, but it just seems too grey. I guess what I'm getting at is that I like fuzzy pop-appeal and this has almost no pop-appeal. It's like eating something that looks absolutely gorgeous but has disappointing flavor.
