First 13 if you count "Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through the Strip"

'basically Grunge is not even a genre '
I...uh..
|
| |
It's really not, it's more of a movement, like NWOBHM, but it's acceptable (and the norm now) to call bands grunge.
|
| |
I mean, most "grunge" bands don't even sound that similar so how can you lump them all under 1 label?

Finally someone actually gets it.
Everything is just a new movement based on rock n roll.
Nice one lloyd dude.

I do agree it was a movement, Tempest.
But you could say that about all of the ridiculous sub-genres that are around today. It's all about
the category. But imo Grunge is a genre, more so these days.

I actually really enjoy Cobain's vocals on this record. It's almost hardcore punk meeting metal without having an ugly, scene metalcore baby.

Whoops, commented that on the wrong thread. I meant that comment for Bleach, In Utero is a lot different to me.

Vocals for Beach were good, but they're much better on this.

Milk It best Nirvana song tbh

The riffs on this album can be pretty massive tbh, Milk It especially
I'm still curious where the band would've gone if they were able to have continued

Would've undoubtedly gone the same route as everybody else. Squeaking into a microphone playing some generic dirge that holds nothing and means even less.
Here's the thing though, it never happend. What they 'had' still remains
|

i always thought nirvana would have broke up after this. i feel like kurt didnt have much more. or it would have sounded very different

But when a song like You Know You're Right came from their last session, it has believe they would've made at least one more good record. Plus, it's known that Kurt really liked the demos of songs that Dave wrote, so they may have become more of a collaborative band.
Seriously, imaging Kurt singing Weenie Beanie from the first Foos record

I'd agree with Flutt, they'd have probably broke up.
