I'm in East Anglia and the days have been too hot for my liking, but come dusk, it all of a sudden turns into 5 degrees. Hasn't helped that it's rained most nights this week too

This CD overall is extraordinary. The instrumental tracks are really overshadowed by Che's breathtaking vocals. I love how ambient, dark and ghostly the album feels as a whole. Like an abandoned ghost town in the old west. Deathscope is by the far the most unique and strangest track on the album. It feels out of place yet at the same time it's not exactly unwelcome. It's grown on me the past couple spins but the first listen was honestly pretty terrifying as if Devy was about to go SYL on my ass. I'm sorry to say that Disc 2 was pretty weak overall but it just goes to show that Townsend wanted the best tracks on the original disc. The notable song I really enjoyed from Disc 2 was "Dig For Gold". My first time listening I had to repeat it about 8 times before I could finally move on.

My personal favorites: Daddy, Mountaintop, The Code, Moon, Ether, Forgive Me, Broken/Bones, Deathscope.

Disc 2 I only enjoyed "Dig For Gold".

Yeah, I love the ambient nature of this album too. it makes it sound far more vast and isolated and all the more beautiful
