Just passed the anniversary of it's inception. I will probably keep working on this thing even after it's released because it's my fucking baby.
On a side note, I have found a really easy formula to write concept albums by having the lyrics already written and making many instrumental tracks for each song until I find one that fits perfectly and that I'm happy with.

I can probably get a song out by the end of this month just for you guys, I'm mostly done with the acoustic section and I'm waiting for my friend to get off tumblr and answer his phone so he can do his magic to it by putting some jazz solos in there.

I started writing the album before I could play any instruments so I had plenty of time. Apparently I'm learning guitar at an ungodly speed according to my jazz guitarist friend because he said after a year of guitar I'm as far as he was in 3.

When it's finished I hope it impresses. It's a mix between jazz, progressive rock, folk, and post hardcore if you're into that sorta thing.

Nice. When I was learning guitar I was learning at an ungodly speed too. My private guitar teacher told me I was as far in a year as he was in a week. Nah but in all seriousness, I suck at guitar, so props to you.

Haha, my biggest regret right now is that I used to be a piano prodigy at age 5 but I found it boring so I stopped. Goddamn it younger me, I could have used those musical skills!

I've never been any good at playing the piano but I have one at my house and I love messing around on it. I make no secret that the piano is my favorite instrument, and even though I don't know any notes, it's still fun as hell to play.
