They should do that, the problem is that many people in the rock and metal scene is avoiding anything related with LB due to how infamous is their music ( Slipknot had a bitter feud with these guys, chino moreno also claimed that he and deftones don't wanna be involved in anything that remembers LB, even johnathan davis said he didn't wan't to be involved with LB in anything) also the douche behavior of fred and wes ( yes he was a douche with bands like dream theater )didn't help either

I'm no Linkin Park superfan (never liked anything past their first two and even those I hadn't listened to in years until recently) but the amount of teenagers of all types they reached and the amount of rock/metal bands they influenced is truly noteworthy to say the least

Indeed denying the importance of HT and Meteora is been a fuckin moron with an IQ below 10. hey took elements of 4 genres and made a really powerful amalgam which consisted in killer tunes like a place for my head, with you, one step closer , runaway, papercut and more, the vocal work of chester is fuckin impressive ( in fact he was the best vocalist of the nu metal era), his wide range was something rarely seen and the intensity of his screams and clean parts was clear as fuck, thanks to that he earned the respect of a lot of people including musicians of the rock and metal scene ( hell, if people like claudio sanchez, rob flynn, mike portnoy, neil peart and vernon reid defends chester's work and pay him their respects to a nu metal singer is due to the talent of chester), mike's rapping skills during the HT era were top notch and those rhymes were beyond killer, mr hahn made electronic shit which was intense, dope and it mixed the elements of breakbeat, techno and hip hop ( No wonder why acts like depeche mode and crystal method respected a lot linkin's electronic stuff). The only issue with HT is the simple music and the cliche topics, still they are not the only rock group with vast amounts of praise that has the same problems, ramones and nirvana's music was simple as hell too, you can't judge LP by the standars of prog rock or avant grade metal bands in terms of instrumentation , cliche topics bands like brand new and the smiths also dealt with those cliche topics, besides unlike the approach of otehr nu metal groups of simply saying 'Why are you doing this? Stop it, I hate you, I hate you' or something to that effect, Chester and Mike wrote more complex lyrics, and although it's clear what they are about, he manages to make it much more interesting to listen compared with many of their contemporaries

I am expecting a counter argument, but considering how IQ the of LP haters is I guess it will be impossible
