compass onward really kicks ass. really dig this but it does get samey at points. i still do wish they would go a bit more slower and atmospheric because i really like when they do. really good at what they do but i wish they'd take that next step. hopefully the next albums mix things up a little.

I've always had the same opinion about this, YNYA and NLTL. They all just come off as whiny/cringey to me and just never held my attention. And I've tried multiple times with all 3 albums, idk lol. Love all their other stuff though.
