The music in the Season 2 Finale was so good that I thought the ending was pretty powerful, even though it felt so impersonal with the daikaiju and what not.
And yeah this finale it was really damn good too, although I don't remember it being as good as Season 2's. Currently listening to "Greatest Change" from this OST we're commenting on (Season 1), and it's so damn great.

I can't wait. The creators said they want to take a break from the Avatar universe but "it always sucks them back in" so maybe we'd see a prequel series on Avatar Tsu (...the second Avatar) or something like that.
But yeah, no more Korra television, although I'm sure there will be comics and such.
Also Avatar ran for about 3 1/2 years, Korra will have run for about 2 3/4 years. So it's not a surprise that it feels like Korra has just started.
TBH I think the big thing here is gonna be how Korra does in terms of revenue for Nick through comic sales, digital downloads, streaming sales, merch, etc. If it provides a continuous stream of money like A:TLA (whose comics are still huge sellers) then Nick might pick up the next Avatar series in 4+ years. If not, they'll either sit on it or maybe sell the rights to the IP to like Netflix or someone else who wants to buy it out.

Maybe there will be an Avatar that comes after Korra; y'know from the Earth Kingdom. Seeing as though Korra has cars, movies, and radios, in another 70-90 years the next Avatar could very well have the Internet... weird, right?
