This record still sounds absolutely ghoulish! Not sure what Mercy were dabbling in at the time, but I've always loved em'. They capture the dark occult atmosphere flawlessly, almost as if they were painting a picture for their listeners instead. Very, very, cool album! Anyone who loves traditional Heavy Metal should love this as well.
Metal classic, bloody essential.

this never captivated me the way melissa does, but it's still for me a hard 4.5, if only because i only want to 5 my absolute absolute favorite records. by any other metric it's a 5 for sure.
