wouldn't call the album a mess, it just lulls a little

the numerous highlights far outweigh the so-so tracks and erratic flow for me

I like "We Suck Young Blood"
|
| |
the drum production on there there is pretty much the best thing ever

everything is right with We Suck Young Blood, I wish they had more songs in that vein
they actually play with incidentals and harmonies and the weaknesses aren't washed over with reverb or a stolen Jaki Liebezeit beat, its like one of their most promising tunes

I can't tell if they're so lazy they can't even find a legitimate Radiohead song and thought "Oh ya, wasn't there like that one political song or something?" or if it's an inside joke because every Radiohead album is essential

Except for Pablo Honey
(and honestly The Bends)
|
| |
The Bends dude? I mean i can respect that opinino since its like standard alternative rock but theres some classic material there and i would say its a more important album to get to know radiohead than most of their other albums.

I mean it was my first Radiohead album and Planet Telex rules, but compared to their later work it's really not that essential
|
| |
I can agree but I think theres more than a few tracks that justify it being an important part of their history. because honestly if were just counting for how many albums are essential from radioheads discography for music in general id honestly say theres not many that are.

2+2=5 and Sit Down Stand Up seem like companion pieces to me. They kind of have a similar structure in some ways. I dont like it though, i feel like sit down stand up is an awkward second opening to the album kind of. Which do you prefer? I think 2+2=5 is a little better.
