Not remotely. He's contextualizing the genre, not the content or quality of the music. Simply saying it's an electronic release is hardly missing anything

This album's probably a better album in general, but I prefer listening to the ST. I just LOVE the minimalism running through that album, whereas the sound of this one feels a lot more progressive and broad.

Honestly the minimalism is such a HUGE part of what I love about Blake's work. I'm not opposed to him moving away from that but I think he lost a bit of his charm in doing so. s/t is way better than this, though I still really like this. I'm fuckin stoked to see this dude when he rolls through my city soon though.
