I was hoping for more pure singing from Jesse as I love his voice but I understand that this kind of
music is what the hardcore fans want.
Really dissapointed with the generic guitar riffs though. Nothing that felt really invovating or
catchy.

It's the opposite for me. This isn't the album hardcore fans wanted, but the riffs are still pretty slick. The band used to be known for really groovy and deep songs with more passionate vocals.
