Not sure about that tbh. I don't think the thing Schizoid Man does could be done better. And Pictures kind of tired to do the same thing. It's just not on the same level, even though it's very good

I’m not necessarily saying this would be favored over COURT even if their release order were reversed. But I do believe the overall scores and feelings toward this record would be ubiquitously warmer.

I don't hate this album but it's just not one I find myself coming back to much, unfortunately.

Almost. The problem is that is very similar with In The Court lacking to it the originality of the other. But, it still is an amazing work. Personally, I always loved it.

Me too. Especially since we only ever got those two albums with Greg Lake.

c.clock.w disc run, stop, here; King Crimson is one of my favorite band but I must admit that I never had listened to this album. Full jam on. T/t is good.
''Pictures of a City'' rules hard [2],
"The Devi's Triangle", homage to Holst's piece "Mars" from "The Planets Suite". For me, this is the album highlight. Haunting perfect adaptation/interpretation
Poseidon, the little clever brother of the overwhelming Crimson King.
