So I dropped this to a 3, after initially liking this record it fast became quite forgettable.



Its not poor by any means but its just a little too congested and the riffs (when we get them) are lacking for the most part.

Jari made it clear as early as 2009 that Time was to be "a different kind of album" and that those expecting something like the first album most likely would be disappointed. So in some ways I don't understand why some people say this is dissapointing (assuming that most who were anticipating the album have stayed informed).



Anyways, I dig this first part; took some time to sink in but it's quality for sure. Looking forward to the second part.

Land of Snow and Sorrow is the best song on this for me.
