yeah on tuesdays its just straight up shoegaze, on thursdays is avant garde nu metal, but on wednesdays.. prog metal with a side of metalcore

Just because something's metalcore doesn't mean it's automatically bad. BTBAM started off as a metalcore band and they've pretty much turned their sound into progressively theatrical progressive metal with a side of core on wednesdays.
I wasn't implying that all metalcore was bad. That's just silly. There are a few good ones.
I've been a fan of btbam since s.c. and agree they may have some outside elements but i just feel like it's some sort of low blow. Anyone ever call Mastadon metalcore? no cause they would get their ass kicked.

yeah that was a bad band to use. but that wasn't my point. my point is many place a metalcore tag on btbam first before any other genre. they are much more than that and they pretty much always have been. not talking about the op so much either. just in general.
