It figures a series of posts like this would happen on an A7x album lol, no offense meant.

I need to listen to this again, it didn't do much for me the first time I gave it a few spins, but that might have been because I heard city of evil and their self titled before this and it left a bad taste in my...ear....

Yeah, this is much better than both those albums. It's very different. Kudos to the band for at least not making the same album 4 times, even if 2 attempts were poor and one was average.

I just got hooked on this album after listening City Of Evil for about 2 months non stop.. And by non stop I mean 3, 4 times a day.. And now I'm listening Waking The Fallen 3, 4 times a day.. So I have to say this is a fantastic album, though I prefer City Of Evil cause i prefer Matt's singing over screaming.. COE is maybe the best album I've ever listened to alongside My Chemical Romance's Parade and WTF is up there near that standard.. I think Matt Shadows has THE greatest singing voice in history of metal.. Johnny Santos beats him in the screaming department..

I think Matt Shadows has THE greatest singing voice in history of metal

I'd say that that's very debatable.

You are new to the site it appears so i'd say look and learn and your opinion may change. I too love this album and thought it was better than sliced bread for a while.

I found out differently. It's still really good but there is a world of better stuff out there...just be open to new things and this site will make you like a phoenix rising from Arizona...

City of Evil was really good

I didn't like it very much. In any case, it's nothing like WtF
