Defender is my favorite

I thought it was really good! Kinda let down by the ratings on here. It received lots of good ratings from everywhere else

Cauterize, A Greater Foundation, Wasted Words, Defender, Tear Out My Eyes, No Lungs To Breathe, and My Only Home are some of my favorite AILD songs ever.

I like the feel of the music, even if it is just metalcore within it's boundaries. Fast paced and lots of nice riffs and drumming.

Album is slowly starting to grow on me.
I really wish they could have topped The Powerless Rise, but I can definitely dig stuff like Whispering Silence and Tear Out My Eyes.

No doubt, AOBU is the best. But for me, this is not better than Frail Worlds Collapse even.

The 3.3 Average is way too low! Considering AILD is in the upper echelon of Metalcore I was honestly surprised. This is just as consistent as their past couple albums with a slightly different approach.

I did't like it nearly as much the first 5-6 listens as I do now. Took longer to grow on me than most
music in the genre.
Still, Powerless Rise > Ocean > This

Nah. Instrumentally, The Powerless Rise annihilated Ocean.
