It doesn't really feel like an album is the thing, it's sort of like "here are a bunch of moody experiments we made lumped together for your listening pleasure". It's Slowdive's Amnesiac, if you will.

I feel like all the songs have different compositional bases; they all sound pretty different to me. I mean I guess they're all minimalistic but the approach to minimalism varies.

I think a general approach to minimalism, and a consistent spacey atmosphere, is plentiful glue to hold this together. Much more coherent than Amnesiac for instance
