they played filial and pensive near the beginning of their set and by the time they finished three songs i felt like i had already sweat out a few pounds. so worth it though.
tiki, you should listen to old pride first, since its better.

When I saw them live, they were aggressive an passionate. I only listened to The Lack Long After about 5 times before actually seeing them, and they were pretty amazing. I was standing pretty close to the front, so it was pretty dissonant, but they play marvelously nonetheless. Might rate this a 4.5 by the end of the year. Favorite Hardcore release this year.

the new album sheen has subsided and i've concluded that old pride is significantly better. i will always see this album as kyle durfey's reaction to his father's death and it's really touching but he (and this band) will be better off if they move on.

new album sheen is not wearing off for me, I'm just liking this more and more and more. Definitely like it better than Old Pride, which I still love. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if I 5'd this one day. I fucking love this album.
