Morbid Angel... the most overrated band in Death Metal.
The sterile production brings this album way down. Pete is a monster drummer but the drums are way too clicky. The snare sounds fake, guitars are thin, and bass is non-existant.
David Vincent is another reason this album sucks. His crappy vocals are mixed too high over the band.
It's funny because the re-recorded songs are better than the new material.
Released in 1991 when every other band stepped up, Morbid Angel fell flat on their face. This album is Top 15 1991 if I am feeling generous.
