For as heavy as it was though, I'd still love to see that translate into rougher/screamier vocals, like it did at times on the NTFP version of "Feel Good Drag"

I know I'm pretty much alone in this but I like the NS version of Feel Good Drag more but I also think it's one of their more overrated songs

They can get as "heavy" as they want (like I'm pretty sure they thought 'We Owe This To Ourselves' was heavy as fuck) but it all adds up to nothing if Stephen Christian just melodically hums his way through each song.



With that said, he has a beautiful voice and I don't think they're capable of releasing something that's lower than a 3.5 (knock on wood)

I think the music on NS for "Feel Good Drag" is better, but not the vocals. And "Self-Starter" is probably my favorite single track since Cities

have tried to get into this but it comes across as a little too punky for me. i was hoping for something similar to the everglow. guess that was a mistake. sounds more like sum 41 than mae.
