Why did I buy this boring album? On the Backs of Angels is awesome though, love that opening acoustic guitar line, very proggy.

Boring; c'mon ,systematic chaos and falling into infinty were worse and more boring than this .

yeah Systematic Chaos kinda sucks (unless we're talking about repentance) and falling into infinity is a sad chapter in the Dt saga. this album bored me at first but it has grown on me. "Build Me up, Break Me down" isn't exactly brilliant but I get it stuck in my head a lot and "Breaking All Illusions" is amazing, reminds me of "Learning to Live"

This has grown on me with time. Remove Build Me Up/Break Me Down and Outcry and this is a really fucking solid album.

I agree with you, sonic, on those songs. I would rather listen to this album than falling into infinity. that's pretty much how I rank their albums... how much I would rather listen to one than the other.
