Maybe you should stick to Muse & 311 then, Jay.

not that great. when i saw it was rated this high i figured i should check them out, but i sort of regret it now

To give it a 1 just because is over-hyped is completely idiotic. I know the band has talent so I gave them the benefit of the doubt, it's just I can't really get into this.

For those that like the musicality of Trophy Scars, but not Jerry's vocals (shame on you!), check out Nigel Silverthorn's latest LP. It features every member of TS as the backing band!

^They were just tweeting about that.

Listening to the first song now. Fucking rules. Will definitely listen to the whole thing later. Although, that said, for some people these vocals could be almost as off-putting as Jerry's are.

can't seem to get into this...it's just not as good as their other recent stuff, or my favorite album by them, Bad Luck

werd, i wonder if its the vocals that turns everyone off or the fact that this album has way more blues/jazz and way less hardcore element the other albums had.

ahh yah, i didn't mean to imply that it's alot of people, i mean the people that are turned off by it. I loved alphabet. alphabets and the albums before them but Bad Luck turned me off of them when he changed his vocals a bit. However, after listening to Darkness, Oh Hell like 3 years later I now love Bad Luck as well.

well i mean i disagree with every album you rated a 5, it can't be that hard to believe this is some people's favorite album or one of them. or they could be like me and just have a fanboy mentality. i honestly really love the album but it could be because it's hard for me to have a bad opinion about them.

album's pretty much flawless. a 5 is understandable.

They're an acquired taste but you have to admit they are extremely good at what they do and that's why you see so many 5's.
