The new song definitely has some catchiness to it and I quite like some parts but it's just not what I want from Dimmu, whether that's fair or not. They did promise a more BM-centric sound but it was more like boneless Abrahadabra. It felt very sparse and open, like there was so much open space that could have been filled with more instrumentation. I guess they wanted to leave room for the orchestral bits to breathe, but they did it kind of poorly.

That drum beat. kick snare kick snare kick snare... Sounds like they wrote this one for the arena. Chorus sounds like something out of a musical. There is that one simple melodic riff that sounds pretty cool. Lots of odd transitions. Boneless is a good word to describe this.
