It rules hard. Might just be a little long which is why it gets a 4. Thrash purists, aka 45 year olds living in 1988, just wont accept anything new. As if one cant like 80s thrash and this new shit. OH WELLZ

Kill you're one of those guys on Youtube who post on every old rock/metal video how much better music was back in the day and gets 20 thumbs up by other 50 year olds who want to feel cool. Good thing you like Genesis at least.

Kill Im actually listening to your thrash 4.5's that I dont know too well and all these bands sound exactly the same. Its no wonder a lot of them didnt blow up because they might as well be the same band. They're not bad but they sound so dated now with shitty production, mostly horrible singing, and they all sound identical. At most you get a 1% deviation and Im sure If I listened to each album 10 times Id be able to tell em apart, but thats like not being able to tell identical twins apart at first and then after 5 years of knowing em you slightly can.

Toxik, Anacrusis, Coroner, Artillery, etc. They are all good but I guess I just dont see any need to download them since nothing really jumps out at me. I mean yea the riffs are good, get me headbanging, and some bands might be a little more progressive but they all just have that stereotypical 80s thrash sound that Ive heard a million times. I guess growing up with it is much different to you but to me it just sounds bland. Basically I dont think alot of 80s music in general has aged well and bands like Faith No More, Primus, Rage Against The Machine, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden and what have you were doing much more interesting things in music by the late 80s/early 90s than thrash. Theres a reason thrash died a quick death and was only popular for about 5 years or so.

I think Sylosis has a much more updated/modern sound yes.
Like I said people are always going to be more emotionally connected to the music they grew up with so Im not going to
change your mind. Im sure when Im older and Im listening to new metal bands Im going to hate alot of them too. Thats
just the way it is. But for modern thrash this band is solid and sticks out a little bit among the hundreds of copy cats.

how is this band original in any way lol bands like coroner and thought industry ARE original and 10x better fuck you

Its pretty much impossible to be original these days but Sylosis just sounds more modern. Coroner is probably the best one Ive heard of yours so far honestly and I might DL them, but alot of the others are just the same ol same ol. There are just so many genres of metal that I like to take a little bit from each of them. i guess I just dont see a point in having 200 thrash bands who mostly sound the same. I say the same for every genre though. But thrash is obviously your thing so thrash on brotha.

I already have the Big 4, Testament, Sepultura, Exodus, Kreator, Sodom, SOD, Death Angel, DRI, Heathen, Overkill, Nuclear Assault, Annihilator, Voivod, Suicidal Tendencies, Exhorder, etc. I mean thats alot of thrash right there. What others would you say are essential?
