Yeah Beck took a backseat to Manny/Durijah on this definitely, the rhythm section slays hard

just listened to this for the first time and still don't know what to make of it, i like it but still need to listen to it more easily a 4 still on first listen though. The new direction still feels like a bit of a curve ball but still a good one.

The guitar amazes me on this album. Justin knows how to put the perfect little touches onto these songs. I don't even have to mention the rhythm "sex"tion.

Nah, I find it starts to get boring towards the end.

Worship I mean. And the production kinda seems lifeless. Certainly in comparison to this.

I think the EP length suits this perfectly.

True, Worship is what made me care about Glassjaw in the first place...but I probably would have checked this out for the hype anyway. And goddamn, this blows everything they've done out of the water.

No, but I don't see how that makes Worship better.

Because none of the EP material would exist without W&T? Everyone talks like CB is OMG NEW SOUND... it's really not that different from their W&T-era music. And on a production note, as much as I like Beck/Flo's sound on CB, it's not even on the same level as Ross Robinson's work on W&T. Not even close. Get a FLAC rip of W&T and listen with a good system/headphones and CB/OCG sounds like Garageband in comparison (and not to diss them but that's likely what they used to engineer it)

this sounds very little like WAT, they are both good, this is better, and the production on this ep is fine.
