still some fantastic music here (day in day out, red eyes, up and away)

day in day out, learn to live, the blues for me
honestly a decent modern post hardcore album in a lot of ways, defo not deserving of the backlash it received although i understand why it got it coming off of hollow crown

heartburn can foad
frankly there isn't anything off their last 2 albums I like more than those 3 songs. red eyes is one of their best outright
wish they'd made up and away a full song too

dont remember red eyes at all, will check it in a second
yeah Heartburn is trash but they know that, Sam has spoken out against it vehemently

Yeah this had some really good tracks. Too much hatin on this album

In my opinion none of there albums have ever sounded the same besides this one and LT/LF ( I never did really listen to nightmare ) with that said I do hear enough variety and slight change to warrant this record topping anything they have released before. I may be in the minority but I think this is there best record yet.

I actually wouldn't dis you if you said this was your favorite Architects album
I will say that this and Lost Forever sound nothing alike, though

I'm more surprised that he didn't 1 this. I do agree though, this album got waaay too much hate. Something like this is perfect for the summer.

@parksungjoon
i think all of their albums are good, however only Nightmares, Ruin, Hollow Crown and Daybreaker are solid as albums
the other 3 are cool but have too many misses on them
and i like core man so i dont think its that surprising. Hollow Crown they got spot on. May also have a lot to do with me growing up in the uk when core started getting popular at school with the alternative kids which also explains my nostalgic love for Bring Me The Horizon
|
| |
i like core too just not the modern variety

i like some of the modern variety, the large majority of it being utter dirt tho
|
| |
idk this band just never impressed me

gave this a relisten today
as solid as i remember but damn so much of it is just trying to be epic and massive and falls flat

Album Rating: 3.5
day in day out, red eyes, year in year out and up and away are all epic

Red eyes and year in year out are both good and solid but nothing special to me
I really dig day in day out, learn to live, the blues and btn
Everything else either sucks or is mediocre
