Couldn't really get into this one at first but it grows hard. Some gems here for sure

I'm just revisiting their discography, and this was the album I ignored the most. I have it on repeat right now, and it has some of their best tracks.

The songs are great, for the most part. But as a full album it sounds disjointed, imo. Some of the tracks sound completely out of place here which was an issue for me.

It is a bit of an uneven listen but the songs themselves are ace.

My hope is that the changing of their library from streaming services means they're in the process of readying something new for release.

I cheated a little. Had a few beers and just listening to a few tracks (from various bands) before throwing on a movie. Had read how good this song was and couldn’t resist. I don’t plan on cheating like that tho. Albums in chronological order.

(For the official record, I’m still very much enjoying clarity and it’ll be about a week before I move to bleed American).

Invented is quite divisive. Many people here love it, which is great. Others think it was a big dip in quality for the band. For my money, Chase This Light and Invented are a major stumbling point in the band's discog, although there is the occasional great track. Clarity, Bleed American and Futures are the undeniable trilogy of classics Despite the average ratings suggesting that Bleed American and Futures are a decline in quality, most people would argue those two albums are unusually underrated on this site and I know there are MANY people who consider Futures to be their best album (including me).

Damage is another divisive one. Most are luke-warm on it but it happens to resonate with me on a lyrical level.

IB is generally considered to be a return to form.

By the way, there'll be a new single on Monday called All the Way (Stay). Get hype.
