Yeah man I couldn't choose between the two. Just give this time and I'm sure it will sink in for you.

Mardraum needs more love. I started a review for it over the summer but i'm so fucking lazy and haven't finished it.

Blodhemn is like a less black-metal, more thrash-oriented Frost. And there are a few weird progressive nuances thrown in there but just a little.

Monumension is overall their weirdest album. The first song, "Convoys to Nothingness" might be my favorite song of theirs...but the rest of the album is pretty lame.

Well I'll still check out the whole thing just to see for myself. I've heard a lot of people say Monumension isn't too good.

Fucking this. "Større enn Tid - Tyngre enn Natt" is one of Enslaved's best songs ever.

Vikingligr Veldi is underrated imo as well. Listened to it today and it's fucking solid.

Well I guess that will be the first album I listen to tomorrow.

As for their debut, I think it's pretty mediocre and sloppy. That's just my opinion though.

Yeah their debut just kinda bores me. It's alright.

Larger Than Time, Entrance - Escape, Warrior Unknown, and Starhome (i'm using all their English translations because I don't remember the Norwegian titles) are all among Enslaved's best songs.

Monumension is just a really disjointed listen, it's got some absolutely KILLER ideas but it comes off as too much. I only ever really listen to Convoys to Nothingness and The Cromlech Gate.
