I have gone back and forth on this album over the years, but I still always seem to really like 10 Years Today and T/t.

I’ve never bothered with anything else lol. Grew out of these guys after 8th grade.

I haven't tried to listened to anything else, either, besides random singles from the other stuff.

Oh, jeez, memories. This, Atreyu, Killswitch, and Trivium were some of my first stages of mxc from 04-06.

Shit, tho, I had just graduated high school when this stuff started getting some attention. You guys were in 8th grade... Jeepers.

I had just started getting into stuff with harsh vocals the year before, Rise Against and Thrice being my firsts that come to mind.

Yea, Rise Against got me into harsh vocals too. State of The Union was a song I found disgusting for the first few listens. That shit rips

Aw, heck yeah, State of the Union. First time I listened, it blew my friggin mind.

when this album released I didn't even know about these guys. I was in like 1st or 2nd grade I don't really remember. Fever was my real introduction circa like 6th grade. Since then they've pretty much stayed solidly one of my favorites. I'd already knew some stuff with screaming, but these guys were on another level imo.

I knew Tears Don't Fall and Eye of the Storm from this old mp3 player my dad/brother had so I checked those albums and the ripped and I a few years later in like 6th grade checked hand of blood and it ripped at the time and then checked their other stuff and was.... let down.

THIS so hard, huge flashback right there. That album was such a gateway and still holds up damn well tbh

I knew these guys weren't the cream of the crop when it comes to heaviness, even when I was younger. I already knew Bleeding Through and Fear Factory, both of which are considerably MORE extreme. These guys just had something else for me, and that was accessibility and a fuck ton of emotion.

Yeah, even though the imagery and lyrics are embarrassing af it does sound inspired in its way. Good kick, if partially for nostalgia
