I've been reviewing all the Mercyful Fate albums, including their later ones, if you're still interested. Their s/t EP through Time are all great, the rest of them aren't really worth checking out though.

At first i was not a fan of diamonds falsetto, but as time went on it began to grow on me until the point where i now think it is amazing.

Yeah, King Diamond's voice has been an acquired taste for a lot of people including me. Of course even if someone doesn't love Diamond's voice, it's impossible not to like this album because of the instrumentation.

Absolutely. No question about that.

"Evil" could qualify as one of the best openers ever in
metal. Such impeccable execution. It's like these guys
had a Ph. D. in Metal.
