Drums just feel natural to me. I'm almost completely self-taught (my teacher didn't play the drums, go figure). Nothing feels better than settling into a groove.

Drumming is funner than any other instrument. Every time I'm in a jam session, I just hop on the drums and slam away.

That's how I started. I concur so much about how fun it is. Then I realized I could have more fun if I knew what I was doing

absolutely. the downside's when the rest of the band needs to learn some song, and you spend the whole practice sitting there... drum parts are pretty easy for the most part.
