Smaller sized Phil Elevrum, done in dramatic fashion though.



He played a basement show in my small town and between the local opener and the opening band comprised of his backing band I asked him to autograph my copy of this album. During that exchange he told me he didn’t have a pen, and he would sign it if he had one, so during his opening band I went and found a sharpie. Went back to him for the signature and he takes the album in his hands and says “I could just scratch it for you”, and proceeds to scratch it like a cat, laughs, and signs his name in a very dramatic fashion with pauses in between each letter. He then plugged his phone into the aux of the “venue” and proceeded to play black metal, to which most of the crowd left outside or upstairs, and he seemed so calm in that moment
