" I’m always down for jamming some “Prophet’s Song”"

That's what I'm talking about my man.

I even love Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon and Seaside Rendezvous and only Queen can do that to me.

Anyone else hype for the Bohemian Rhapsody movie?

I've heard that the movie's pretty bad but Malek's acting is great.

It bothers me that the movie doesn't deal with Freddie's sexuality, illness and final years. That has to be the most important thing lol

I mean, not necessarily. Freddie would probably want the musical aspect to be at the forefront.

Well yes, probably

But as a character that's probably the most interesting aspect to develop

"Do anything you want with my music dear, but never make me boring"

I hear that's exactly what they do with the movie sadly

I'll still probably check it because as I said, I heard Malek does an impressive job on it

My mother's been telling me all about it since Queen was "that band" for me as a kid, and were the band that showed me the capabilities of music as an artform, although their importance is both very understated and over-exaggerated. They're at this crossroads between being so overrated that they come back around to being underrated by people due to how overhyped they were and still are.

As for the movie, I have had my doubts considering it's taken nearly a decade up to this point to actually get the film done, have gone through several lead actors, directors and momentary periods in development hell. It'll be a miracle if it's remotely decent, but I think it'll be a okay popcorn flick to see for cheap at best.

couldn't agree more

It happens with The Beatles for me too though I assume that opinion is less popular here in Sputnik

Nah, The Beatles are just insanely overrated. Queen are alright.

Just watch the goddamn movie already, you parent-basement-living snobs.

Movie was great, Malek's performance was amazing and Queen still kick ass.
