and damn, there are some dudes on here who only like thrash or punk, even narrower than me......but i'd never knock it because most music sucks in everyone's mind anyway.....folks on here seem to think that liking only a specific genre is a bad thing lol.....thats ridiculous to me

Mothership connection/maggot brain go there first, but they have a quite few good LPs same thing for funkadelic. Mothership Connection is a classic but I never managed to enjoy Maggot Brain dammit. Haven't jammed it for a couple of years though tbh.
