Usually when I decide to listen to this or anything on it I listen from start to finish. It's rare that I do just because of how big of a listen that is, but I get way more out of it that way I think.

well, this is pretty inaccessible for many. i mean, this is a concept album with operatic vocals; sharp, piercing sounds; drones and scratches, etc. the second disc is something that almost everyone seems to be able to enjoy, but many criticize the first disc harshly for its length and meandering. it makes sense to me, but i really enjoy it as a whole.
you have to remember though, tomorrow, in a year is in collaboration with two other artists - it sounds absolutely nothing like silent shout. silent shout is a much easier album to get into, and it's rooted in kraftwerk-esque era electronic music.

Colouring of Pigeons is absolutely god-like even on its own, but it hits about 10 times harder when heard in context of this full album. I almost never just listen to it on its own.
