Voyages is great but the least unique in their discog, that one just sorta sounds like a weaker Ecailles to me. Shelter is the pure shoegaze one, some great moments but if you think this one is cheesy then that one is pure cheez whiz.

Their middle two albums are pretty boring, Shelter is pure cheese. They only got good again w Kodama.

I would say that maybe I'd be worried I can't enjoy any shoegaze anymore...but then I fell head over heels for the Breathless discography, there's an ugly/beautiful thing to their vocals that really adds that extra element. They're more 'shoegaze influenced' which helps.



I don't know, I was never the biggest fan of Sunbather and maybe this is in the same sort of ballpark. Neither songful enough nor 'musical bliss'y enough to my tastes.

There is no power on this album...is there enough beauty. Difficult with those vocals. Maybe.

Tir Nan Og is the only boring track here for me.

I did too until I realised most of those "screamo" bands are not even screamo. I'm pretty sure I had heard normies call Suicide Silence and Slipknot emo screamo lol.
