He produced the new Smith Street band album, released two albums with Antartigo Vespucci, and recorded a solo album all

this year.

And touring.

Eh. Idk. I'm still not completely sold on Antartigo, but I'm glad he's branching out regardless.

Yeah. The EP is much better. And most people seemed to like Soulmate Stuff more than I did, even if they don't love it, so maybe it wasn't lost on everyone.

If soulmate stuff didn't have the two 100 years tracks and released it as an EP I feel like I would have liked it a lot more

I honestly can't say I truly liked any of the songs, but the 100 year tracks were probably the worst. I don't get why you would reprise a song that had so little going on in the first place. I just realized that the Fake Problems album I listened to did the same thing though. And a couple of times. Hmmmm.

I really dug Giving Up On U2 and Don't Die In Yr Hometown, but it is true that the album is comprised of pretty conventional

power-pop, which is a reason I like the new EP so much. Jeff just seems way more involved this time around

I haven't checked out the new EP yet, is it that much different?

Yeah, it almost has the feel of a different band. Still power pop, but much less straight forward. Maybe they'll continue to

shake up their style.

Lol. I was responding to car's comment, but I guess I answered you as well, MX.

It's noticably different, still poppy but there's some more punk influence. Was thinking about reviewing it. Mystery Pills is my fav track

Sweet, gonna check it out now then. I actually liked their first release, but I can't say I wanted to listen to it again after the first two or three listens, unlike most Rosenstuff

The first track is something like what I'm expecting for Jeff's next solo album, which I am admittedly scared about
