Good thing I dug this out again. Up to 4.0 from 3.0. What I already liked before was that there's only one 3-chorus song (the last song) and the electronic stuff. The high-pitched vocals also weren't a problem. I think it just wasn't that easy to get into. Now I like all 10 songs, yeah there are songwriting issues but as I wrote, at least almost all songs avoid the tired and predictable 3-chorus routine which helps keeping the album fresh (at least to me).
It's just one of those albums that needs time to unfold.

Greatest Album of all time...way better than TDWP

In terms of a really strong song I can give the edge to WCAR but TDWP has shown more growth and willingness to explore the art of creating different music thus growing a stronger overall discography. Both bands have classic albums. I prefer Romans classic albums over Pradas classic albums, but TDWP grew and became an even better band over time, Kyle dying and the band never having the chance to grow their discog like Prada makes it an unfair comparison in this day and age. So while I appreciate and understand your comment, it's a slightly dated take.
