yes it does and oh my god Wolf Knights of Cydonia is a glorious song even though it is hopelessly
bombastic
btw get it while it's hot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WS-fHvdb9U

I don't actually remember that song but I remember disliking next to everything Muse have ever done and thinking they're 80% overrated, 20% 'good music'.
Ugh, that track.
|
| |
Hey, I'm trying to be as nice and positive as possible here.
|
| |
Yea I was expecting you to hate it tbh
|
| |
'Hate' is such an inflationary term nowadays. I don't 'hate' it, I just think it's an incredibly repetetive and boring/uninspired song.
|
| |
Fine then I think you're gonna 'dislike' the rest of the album too
you can find pretty much the whole album on youtube now too, if you still want to hear it
|
| |
It was pretty clear that I'd probably not like it from the beginning considering the available information. But I'm still gonna listen to it.
|
| |
Of course we're talking about the new album dood get with the times.
|
| |
That's niggah behavior man word y'knowamean.
|
| |
Dude, nobody wants justifications. And tbh all kinds of fanboys/excessive haters/elitists/whatever the fuck you call idiots with radical opinions are annoying dickheads.
|
| |
Dude, reading comprehension. And justifications are for dumb ignorant niggahs just like niggah technology just lets dumb ignorant niggahs talk to other dumb niggahs about dumb niggah shit.
|
| |
I'm loving it
but it sounds more like a groove rock album than it sounds like a Baroness record
if you go in expecting to hear any kind of sludge or some heavy riffing you'll be disappointed
Oh and no harsh vocals

Album Rating: 4.0
Blue is better but Green/Yellow are still pretty chill.
|
| |
I think I will stay with Red > Blue > Green/Yellow.
'New' Torche record is probably way better anyway. (and they CAN at least utilize clean vocs)

Album Rating: 4.0
Gypsy Swag?
|
| |
Of course gypsy swag.
|
| |
torche was good but it lacked enough diversity to really leave any sort of impact on me. i guarantee you that, as opposed to Y&G, harmonicraft isn't something that i'm gonna remember in 2-3 years.
|
| |
green is better imo
yellow is pretty derivative
|
| |
one thing that i love about Y&G the most is how it changes up at just the right moment when it feels like i've got the album figured out. it starts off as the "pop metal" that everyone expected, then the overall sound gets bigger and more psychedelic throughout the 2nd half of yellow. then Green starts off with this weird ass country-infused post-punk thing, then gets mellow as fuck until the last few tracks, where it basically goes back to how Yellow started.

^ couldn't have said it better myself
