I've just bumped up my rating to 4.5, just as I saw it coming. Bed and Gasoline are the only tracks that are slightly underwhelming, the rest is amazing. It's alt rock abounding in blues, post hardcore and psychodelia influences. Very cool and at times beautifully depressing album.

if it weren't for the overbearingly repetitive and annoying intro of vices that would be one of my top songs of 09

I really liked this album, not more than Devil & God, and at some points it got too heavy for me.. I like their slow stuff, but all the same, they never cease to amaze me!

so what's difficult about TDAGARIM is how impenetrable the heaviness/creepiness of it his. and yet, this was way easier to get into, despite being even darker/heavier. wtf?

iz gud, just don't know how much yet.

I bumped this up from a 3 to 4. After listening to it a few times it really just clicked. Getting closer to a 4.5.

Compared to The Devil and God, this feels like a massive step back into screamo wankness.
