Don't know what to say tbh, I'm a relativistic but I really can't understand some people's opinion...

But then I say to myself: "Hey, I 5'd an ABBA album, so fuck it"

Blackmore rules all, that's fact. [2]

Iommi had the best riffs and Blackmore had the best solos and Page is somewhere in the middle

"Iommi had the best riffs" overall, probably, but I think Blackmore's riffs in Rising are as good as any Sabbath

Jamie, well we had a couple of people backing one notion, and a couple backing another...
That's a sufficient condition for a debate. One’s notion of what is honest though, is a totally different matter ; P

Yeah Rainbow had some of his best. Obviously they all had their moments in both areas, it's just if we

must draw lines on superlatives, Iommi had the best riffs throughout his career.

No one comes remotely close to Iommi in terms of riffs. As for solos Blackmore isnt that far ahead

Into the Void riffs harder than the whole Rising and LLRnR albums combined

@DrJohn: Not to be a dick or anything but from an objective standpoint Page was definitely the least original of the 3, that's not my opinion that's just how it is. I guess the term distinctive is a bit more subjective so perhaps that is open for debate so apologies there.

Yes "least original" makes a huge difference in meaning compared to "distinctive". Fair enough then Jamie.
