Daisy isn't and never will be better than Beggars. And I'm speaking this from a musician standpoint.
You may dislike this record, but thinking it's worst than Daisy is just insane and fanboyism.

The bonus tracks on this alone kill Daisy, by the way. Not that it says much, but they are really really really awesome. Answered and Red Telephone are amazing, and Helter Skelter gotta be the best cover I've heard of this song in my entire life.

Or people have different opinions. Basically stfu.

From a music standpoint, creating a music anti-opus of solid tracks is a bigger achievement than
sounding like a Nirvana/Modest Mouse crossover. That's what I'm saying.

Tbh, neither album is amazing.

I like how you use this to justify your opinion. As if nobody on this website is a musician... Cause everyone on this site, besides you obviously, are 14 year olds who have never touched a musical instrument in their life.

you are speaking from a musician standpoint and are therefore biased, whereas i'm speaking from a music listener's standpoint and am therefore objective
so shut the fuck up you idiot

From a musician standpoint I can make a objective assumption. This record rules, Daisy sucks and anyone who keeps giving me hell because of this can suck it. It isn't my fault.

I don't think either of you has really mastered the concept of "objective". Thrice writes more complex parts and is technically more difficult than Brand New, but to say Daisy just plain sucks is a subjective point of view...which is completely fine on this site as well.

You're a fucking moron. I definitely like Thrice a lot more than Brand New (aggregate for Thrice's work is 4.12 and BN's is 3.8 based on my ratings), and whoop-de-fucking-doo, I'm a musician myself (guitar, bass for ten years, drums for three). Music is subjective fool, and Beggars, while still a great record, is quite sleep-inducing at times not to mention covers ground Thrice has tread before (btw I rated it a 4 which means excellent) whereas Daisy sounds nothing like any of BN's other records. So in terms of band innovation, BN clearly edges Thrice in that category, and it's all about taste. I love Thrice but they're a band that's trying to be hardcore's Radiohead and while admirable, we already have a Radiohead. So you may dislike Daisy but your opinion and argument are dumber than a pair of clown shoes
